Originally from the UK, I had my first experience of yoga as a child when my older sister rejected a book of yoga poses she'd been given for Christmas. I thought the book was fabulous, and could regularly be seen standing on my head in our living room after dinner!

As I grew older, I drifted away from the practice, but then found my way back when I took my first real yoga class after moving to Shanghai in 2006. It immediately made sense and I felt a deep connection.
 I've had the privilege of studying yoga in China, Thailand, the Nethelands and now here in Prague. Through all life's changes, yoga has remained constant and kept me grounded. I have explored many styles of yoga including Hatha, Sivananda, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Hot Yoga and Vinyasa styles. Today, I primarily practise Hatha and Vinyasa styles with a focus on synchronizing movement with the breath.
 I have completed a Yoga Alliance 200 hour yoga teacher training course and have been teaching individual and group classes since early 2014.
For me, the most important benefit of yoga that I hope to share with my students is its possibility to bring joy to every aspect of our lives.
