Yoga is a way of life, an art to consciously be here and now. An attitude helping us to reconnect to who we are. The beginning of my yoga journey started in 2000 in Hong Kong where I was living. I attended a yoga class on a friend’s recommendation. It was a dynamic asana class which gave me a good physical workout, and yet now felt joyful and at ease.

This powerful feeling of lightness and peacefulness led gradually to start of a regular practice in 2003, mainly under the guidance of an Indian teacher Master Kamal from Himalayan yoga tradition. During the next three years I also had opportunities to meet other senior teachers and was able to try various styles of yoga (Hatha yoga including Pranayama, Kundalini yoga, Bhakti yoga and a few different meditation techniques). At this time my practice was mainly Vinyasa flow and Pranayama.

In Feb 2006 I met with another fine teacher Paul Dallaghan on a retreat in Thailand. This happening gave depth to my pranayama practice and introduced me to Ashtanga Vinyasa asana approach which influenced me a lot and became part of my life for many years. In Yoga Thailand I attended teacher training course and several advanced intensive trainings over several years which led to (Yoga Alliance RYT 500) certification in 2010.

One of the advanced courses was led by Paul's teacher O.P.Tiwari from Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla, India. Under his guidance I continue to study and practice of yogic philosophy and pranayama.

I started to lead classes in 2008.

Life circumstances and experience are changing the form of my practice, the essence remains.

My thanks go to all the teachers who guide me on the journey and to my wife Ivana for continuous support.
